Bondi...

Hi Everyone,
We started the day by queing for ages to talk to the travel guys at the
hostel. The weather forecast for Cairns in not good for the next few days
with lots of storms and rain. Mackay which is in Queensland but below
Cairns has also had torrential rain and is completely flooded.
However, we're still going to go ahead and go. It seems that the weather
forecast will suggest rain but this will only really be in small bursts,
hopefully it will be ok. I suppose if we're in the ocean it doesn't really
matter if its raining that much! lol!
We headed to Bondi Beach by bus after this and had lunch in a place called
Sahnia. This was good, and was on the road looking over the beach, so was
really pretty.
We were planning to walk along the cost line, but Rob's foot hurts (we
don't know why - he must have hit it yesterday in the sea!), also my leg
well hurts from the sunburn yesterday, I think I caught it at a bad angle.
Weirdly is ok when I walk it just hurts if I stand still.
Instead, we just sat on the beach, Rob went swimming, although the waves
and current were very strong today, I fell asleep and read a bit,
obviously not at the same time. It was very relaxing.
We've headed back to the city now and are about to get ready for dinner.
We've decided to have a drink up the sky tower (second highest structure
in Australia) tonight and then go for dinner somewhere else.
I've really enjoyed Sydney and am sad to leave it, its been really
relaxing! Although I think Cairns is going to be awesome, so more to look
forward to!
